(mandatory; included in base price)
  • Validates and corrects key mailing elements of your records against our database.
  • Provides an Address Accuracy report.

Note: 4-7% of your records are likely to be incomplete or inaccurate.
Duplicate Identification Identifies and flags multiple records for the same person, or for different people at the same residential/business address.

Note: About 5% of your records are likely to be identified as duplicates.
National Change of Address (NCOA)
  • Get access to 72 months' worth of the most accurate mover information available—including residential and business moves and deceased estates.
  • Our master NCOA database is updated monthly, so we recommend using this service frequently.

Note: 2-4% of your records are likely to be identified through NCOA.
Suppression of CMA ‘Do Not Contact’ List Identifies records of people on the Canadian Marketing Association's 'Do Not Contact' List.

Note: Up to 3% of your records are likely to be identified as 'Do Not Contact'.

When you proceed with a cleansing order, you’ll have 2 payment options:

  • Pay by credit card: Visa, MasterCard or American Express.
  • For approved customers, you can use your Canada Post account. Need an account? Call 1-877-281-4137.

What else you need to know about using Smart Data Cleaner

File Formats and Number of Files
  • Ensure you follow our File Format Guidelines.
  • You can upload up to 10 files in one cleansing order. We'll merge them and provide you with one cleansed file. There is no extra charge to submit up to 5 files, but a $30/file charge applies for files above 5.

Safety and security
As your list is transmitted to us, we encrypt it using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology—the industry standard for secure online communications.

Terms and conditions
Before uploading your mailing list to Smart Data Cleaner, we'll ask you to agree to the Terms and Conditions.
